What Home Cookin is about

Hi ! My name is Kim and I have lived in southern Ohio all my life, I love the beautiful hills and the country ways. Growing up and eating the food of Appalachia, which is just down home comfort food with a bit of Scots-Irish tradition threw in.

But there comes a time when it was time to start eating healthier. I still love the Appalachian food, but I wanted to make it with healthier ingredients. One thing you will see is I use butter and Olive oil and no lard or bacon grease or margarine. I hope you enjoy!
